ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, told al-Barāʻ, "When you lie down to sleep, perform ablution as you do for prayer, lie on your right side, and say, 'O God, I have submitted my face to You; I have entrusted my affairs to You; and I have relied on You: out of fear and longing for You. There is no refuge or sanctuary from You, except in You. I have believed in the Book which You have revealed, and in the Prophet whom You have sent.' If you then die that night, you would die on the natural disposition (1)." al-Barāʻ said, "I kept repeating these words in order to memorize them, and I said, 'I have believed in the Messenger whom You have sent.' He then corrected me by saying, 'I have believed in the Prophet whom You have sent.'" Footnotes: (1): i.e. Islamic monotheism. ”

The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him said, "The signs of a hypocrite are three: when he (1) speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he is trusted, he betrays that trust." Footnote: (1): Masculine pronouns are generally used in Arabic as a means for referring to both men and women when the meaning is left general and is not otherwise specified.
